The Story Behind the Brotherhood

Growing up, my dad used to tell me:

“Look at your brother. He’s all you’re ever going to have.

Look out for each other. Protect each other.

Love each other. Be there for each other.”

I don’t think I understood what those words really meant back then.

But as I’ve gotten older—and experienced friendships that changed my life, others that built businesses, created powerful bonds, and a few that ended in painful ways—I started to finally understand what brotherhood actually is.

During my divorce, my entire world got flipped upside down.

Not because of the divorce itself…

But because of how many of my friendships shifted around me.

And it wasn’t subtle.

Some men—men I thought were solid—disappeared.

But others? They showed up stronger than ever.

They were men of loyalty, strength, and compassions

They had businesses I respected. They had presence.

They had my back.

And if it weren’t for those brothers, I might have ended up in a tailspin.

Because in that moment, they didn’t just support me—they reminded me who I was.

They reminded me of my brand.

Of my vision.

Of my purpose.

They pulled me out of the fog and back into the fire.

That’s when I realized something life-changing:

Environment matters more than emotion.

You can be in a good place personally—but if your environment is toxic, it’ll slowly destroy you.

And you can be in a broken place personally—but if your environment is strong, it’ll start to rebuild you.

I was being rebuilt by men by being around them.

I joined another men’s group at the time

but it was out of state. All online. No real in-person connection.

And that’s not what I needed.

I wanted something local.

Something real.

Not a glorified networking event. Not another party group.

I wanted a Brotherhood where men could connect through:

Golf

Gym sessions

Hiking

Boating

Business building

Faith

Loyalty

And living life like it actually means

So I did something I hadn’t done in a long time…

I ran an ad to bring these men in my life.

I was scared to do it—because I’d lost a ton of money running ads in the past.

But I believed so deeply in what I was creating, I had to try.

That night?

My inbox blew up.

I had more men reaching out than I knew how to follow up with.

Men from all over Phoenix were raising their hand, saying “I need this.”

And after a few events, I met a guy who changed everything: Dominique Bradley.

He believed in the vision.

He had built an incredible journey of his own in marketing he was a great man and business.

And together, we asked a big question:

What would it look like to build a Brotherhood that no one else had?

Something unique. Something powerful.

Something that wasn’t just about having fun—but that actually gave men what they needed.

So we built it.

And from there, The Brotherhood Nation was born.

We poured hundreds of hours into the backend.

We tested it. We improved it.

We picked up the phone, made the calls, closed the sales, and built a real foundation.

And then we created something we’d never seen before:

If it wasn’t for the men around me when my life was crashing—I wouldn’t be here.

And when I first had the idea to launch this… I hesitated.

I thought, “There’s already brotherhoods out there. It’s too late.”

But the nudge didn’t go away.

In fact, it got louder BECAUSE BROTHERHOOD WILL ALWAYS BE IMPORTANT FOR ME IN LIFE.

In my opinion BROTHERHOOD is more important than your FATHER.

Your Father may have had a role THROUGH experiences of life.

Its YOUR BROTHERS that had a bigger role IN the experiences of life.

Men are thrusting for BROTHERHOOD.

Starting this Brotherhood was one of the best decisions of my life.

And I know—deep in my heart—it might just be one of the best decisions of yours.
